Hi, I’m Phil Marsewski.

My background is in biotech — which is not where most brand strategists come from, and that's exactly the point. I spent eight years inside one of the most regulated, high-stakes operating environments there is, structuring ambiguous problems, aligning stakeholders who didn't agree, and managing initiatives where being unclear wasn't an option.

What that experience gave me is a very high tolerance for complexity and a genuine impatience with work that isn't rigorous. I don't think strategy should be impressionistic. I think it should be defensible — built on real insight, structured clearly, and designed to hold up when someone pushes back on it.

That's what I bring to Evergreen. Not just project management, but the kind of operational thinking that makes strategy actually executable.

What I bring to the table

Operational strategy & project leadership

Structuring complex engagements from kickoff to delivery — with clear accountability, realistic timelines, and nothing falling through the cracks.

Analytical rigor

Bringing a research-backed, structured approach to problems that might otherwise get solved by gut feel alone.

Stakeholder alignment

Facilitating the hard conversations that get teams, founders, and decision-makers pointed in the same direction.

Systems design

Building the internal frameworks — processes, playbooks, delivery structures — that let a growing firm scale without losing quality.
